Georgia: Washington Discusses ECE Innovation and Opportunity

Valora Washington, Council CEO, was a keynote speaker in Atlanta at the Education Commission of the States National Forum on Education Policy. The Forum included a series of three keynote speeches: retired Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor spoke about civic education, Bill Gates discussed teacher support and Valora talked about innovation and opportunity in early education. "I am so pleased that the Council for Professional Recognition is included in national events such as these." Washington said, "We are honored to be contributing our professional development and assessment expertise to national discussions related to early care and learning."
