Washington delivers keynote in Wisconsin
This month, CEO Valora Washington delivered the keynote address at the Pathways to Quality Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Council Delivers CDA 2.0 Support in Texas


This month, The Council's Senior Manager of Training and Outreach, Vilma Williams, traveled to Galveston, Texas, to educate attendees at the Texas Association for the Education of Young Children (TAEYC) conference.

Attendees were excited by the opportunity to to become Professional Development Specialists and the Council's efforts to enhance the bilingual specialization.

The sponsors of the conference Mitzi Bartlett, TAEYC President, and co-chair Teri Jackson expressed their deep appreciation to the Council for working with them in making our presentations possible.

Manager of Partnerships Travels to Delaware & Maryland 

 
This month, the Council's Manager of Domestic and International Partnerships, Brocklin Qualls, traveled to Dover, Delaware to meet with a host of representatives and officials from the state's early childhood education community. 
Brocklin's meetings focused on embedding the CDA into Professional Development systems throughout the state. Brocklin also walked thought leaders through the CDA 2.0 transition. 
Earlier in the month, Brocklin attended the Maryland State Department of Education's Quarterly training meeting to introduce Maryland early childhood leadership to CDA 2.0 training and partnerships initiatives.
