Reggio Emilia

The Reggio Emilia publications highlight the philosophies and practices used in the preschools of Reggio Emilia, Italy, which have been recognized as among the best in the world. The "Reggio Emilia approach" consists of focusing on each child in relation with others—children, family, teachers, the environment, and society—and activating and supporting these reciprocal relationships. Classroom teachers listen to and observe the students closely, adjusting the curriculum accordingly. In addition, a teacher specially trained in the visual arts works with the teachers and children to encourage expression through different media.

The Council is pleased to offer these resources at a special reduced price -50% off. The price shown is the reduced price.
