Upon receipt of your correctly completed Home Visitor Assessment Application, the $325 assessment fee, and the official documentation of training, the Council will assign you a Council Representative who will complete the assessment process.

The Council Representative will:

- Observe you working with children and families.
- Conduct an Oral Interview to evaluate your knowledge of early childhood care and education practices.
- Contact the Advisor and the Parent / Community Representative to arrange the Local Assessment Team Meeting.

Details about the Local Assessment Team Meeting are included in your Application Packet.

At the conclusion of the Local Assessment Team Meeting, final recommendation to the Council is recorded in the Candidate's Profile. The Council Representative collects the Profile and other assessment documents and mails them to the Council.
