A Council Committee will review Local Assessment Team's recommendation and your documentation, and will render a final decision whether to award you the Credential. If a Credential is awarded, the official Credential will be sent to you, the new Child Development Associate. If the committee decides you need more training, the Council will let you know what next steps to take to earn the Credential.

Congratulations on becoming a CDA! The Council advocates for continuous professional development and encourages you to renew your Credential periodically. Proceed to STEP 6.
