Florida-based early childhood professionals pose with their framed certificates at Hillsborough County Head Start's pre-service event on August 9, 2012. More than 30 early childhood educators received their Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential™ at the event, which was attended by the Council's Manager of Partnerships, Brocklin Qualls, and representatives from the County Commissioner's office. Kristy Pinkey, a training specialist with the Head Start Program, said she began organizing the ceremony each year as a way to honor the staff for the hard work they put into their CDA work.
