Bill Makes Its Way to the Senate

The Council for Professional Recognition applauds the House of Representatives on passage of the Build Back Better Act. This historic investment in early care and education will provide critically needed resources by supporting increased access to universal pre-k, affordable childcare, and increased wages for educators (pre-k and childcare workers) working with some of our youngest children. As the bill makes its way over to the Senate, we call upon them to act quickly and maintain the strength of the early care and education provisions in the House version of the Build Back Better Act.
