We know how important it is for you to renew your CDA Credential. That’s why the Council for Professional Recognition has been working hard to make the online application process easier for you.

It has been just over one month since the Council implemented on October 1st its easier, streamlined renewal process. Since that time, the Council received almost 500 online renewal applications.

Before you proceed with your CDA renewal, we suggest you download the CDA Renewal Procedures Guide that corresponds to your credential type by visiting our renewal page. And, we have even created a video that will quickly show you how to get started with uploading your documents to the YourCDA® online renewal application system. To view the video click here.

If you are coming close to renewing your CDA Credential, we encourage you to use our YourCDA® online application system where you will be able to upload all your documents directly into YourCDA® and efficiently submit your CDA renewal application. Using our online application system to submit your CDA renewal not only saves our trees, but helps you to get your renewal decision much faster.

Remember, your CDA Credential is valid for three years from the award date. You can apply for CDA renewal six months before your credential expires. Even though you apply early, your renewal will remain valid from your original date of application.

If you have any questions or need more information about the CDA renewal process visit our website or call our Customer Support Team at 202-265-9090. We’re always here to assist you in answering any questions you may have.
