Mary visits tribal residents in Spokane
This month, CDA Professional Development Specialist Program Manager, Mary LaMantia, traveled to the 22nd Annual Northwest Indian Head Start Coalition Conference in Spokane, Washington. The Coalition represents 80 tribes in 10 states. More than 350 representatives in the tribal early childhood education community attended the conference where the Council gave presentations on CDA 2.0 and the new role of CDA PD Specialist. “President Viola Wood graciously acknowledged the Council’s participation and continued support of their member organizations,” LaMantia said. LaMantia said participants also expressed interest in the CDA 2.0 process and in expanding the opportunity for tribal professionals to become PD Specialists. Hillsborough County Head Start
