Participate in Lead Teacher Analysis Survey

March 26, 2021

The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) and the Council for Professional Recognition (CFPR) are working together to explore the possibility of developing a national competency-based lead teacher certification for early childhood educators. To do this, we need your input in helping establish the competencies for Early Childhood Education (ECE) Lead Teachers.

This survey will ask you to respond to statements about knowledge, skills, and abilities used by Early Childhood Education Lead Teachers in doing their jobs, as well as work activities performed.

For the purposes of this project, we are defining Early Childhood Education as the teaching and care of children from birth through age 8. We are defining an ECE Lead Teacher as the educator of record and the decision-maker who is directly responsible for the instruction of children (and may include supervision of staff) in all types of ECE

Thank you for participating and please complete the survey by March 30, 2021.
